"The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are." - Carl Jung

We all face challenging situations, setbacks, trauma and loss. This is part of our lives. The way we process and react to life’s setbacks influences how easy or difficult it is for us to recover. Resilience is the capacity to recover from difficult life events. It’s the ability to withstand adversity and bounce back and grow despite life’s challenges.

Therapy sessions focus on helping you find effective ways of coping with your difficulties on the here and now, by becoming more aware of repetitive patterns of interpretation and behaviour, which can impact the view that you hold for yourself and others, the quality you experience on your interpersonal relationships (friendly, romantic, professional) and the feeling of satisfaction for your everyday life.

Sessions at times might focus on helping you to discover how problems and experiences from the past still affect the here and now and to learn new methods and skills in order to deal with these problems.

What is Therapy?

I offer therapy sessions online and face to face from my office in Forth Street, EH1 3LH. Therapy can be short term or long-term depending on your needs. Sessions are usually held on a specific day / time, while the frequency is sometimes weekly and sometimes every 15 days.

My main approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and I have also completed a Trauma Focused Training. I also incorporate characteristics of more therapeutic approaches in my practice, such as the person-centred, self-compassionate and systemic approach.

I have experience working with people who experience a variety of issues, including anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety and agoraphobia, low mood, depression, trauma, abuse, loss, low self- esteem and negative thinking, relationship issues and anger management.
